Scout.com has learned that McCoy will travel to Buffalo for a two-day visit with the Bills front office on April 11th and 12th, and then hop on a plane and travel to St. Louis to meet with the Rams brass on April 13th and 14th. The Bills and Rams desperately need to upgrade their quarterback situation, and it appears that the draft is their best option to find a franchise signal caller.
No way this dude should even be considered until at the earliest the 3rd round. He isn't the answer.
McCoy's the 3rd best QB in the draft...The dropoff from Clausen/Bradford is huge. It's either of them or wait til next year.
ReplyDeleteWhen was the last time we drafted someone in the first round and every Bills fan said, "That was a great pick?" We draft decent athletes and have no clue how to effectively utilize them. This year's draft will be no different. I say draft a quarterback in the first and hope for the best. Doesn't matter how good he is; we're still going to fuck it up somehow. We always do

We have no offensive line, preventing us from establishing the run at all. Three-and-outs lead to the defense being on the field for forty minutes, they get worn out, we give up 30.

ReplyDeleteNFL is a passing league. Jets were a fluke. The Bills best QB right now is Fitzpatrick. How are the Bills going to be a running team when everybody knows they can't throw the ball?
ReplyDeleteBrian Brohm would be an upgrade
ReplyDeleteNormally teams don't cut 2nd rd picks in their 2nd season unless the guy is god awful.
