The Bills traded a 3rd and 7th round pick for Amari Cooper and a 6th.
Cooper, 30, has only $1m cap hit. He instantly becomes the Bills leader in receptions, yards, TD catches and targets.
Despite being with one of the worst QBs in the league Cooper has been productive this year.
The strange part about all of this is how predictable snd obvious it was that the Bills receivers were horrendous. I have been bitching about it all offseason. Beane gave away Diggs for no 2024 draft capital, less cap space and to a conference rival.
It made zero sense to go into the year with this corps. And it has been obvious thru six games these turds werent good enough.
Cooper still has tread onthe tires and hopefully will have an impact. Giving up a third is a pretty steep price but when you are desperate and have no cap space you gotta pay up some how.
No extra credit for doing the obvious
grade C+
