The Bills heading into free agency

I broke down the Bills free agents wayyyy back in February which I'm sure you all remember so I won't regurgitate everything. Instead here is Part 1 free agents to be and Part 2 decisions.

With a small amount of big name free agents but $35.9 million to spend the Bills could be a major factor in free agency, just don't hold your breath. Wait, how do we have the 2nd hardest strength of schedule, wtf? Uh, wow this team may need another 11 years of rebuilding.

The obvious positions of need are anything on defense, OT, QB, TE. John Clayton lists the Bills as a dark horse for Cullen Jenkins. I say why not other than maybe stunting Alex Carrington's growth. Dwan Edwards is nothing special neither is Spencer Johnson . Another no brainer would be free agent TE from Oakland Zach Miller (and no I didn't steal that idea from ESPN). 60 rec 685 yards and 5 TDs. Have the Bills tightends combined for those stats in the last 5 years total? Todd Heap wouldn't be a bad consolation prize either.

Offensive tackle, hmm how about Jared Gaither or Matt Light? One is young and sort of an asshole the other is old and played for an asshole team. Jeez, does this list really have Langston Walker as the #11 ranked OT free agent? Yikes. A right tackle is a bigger need and I believe Demetrius Bell could make a big leap in 2011 so I'd take a flyer on Gaither if he can pass a physical.

That leaves us with quarterback. Don't even mention the name Tyler Thigpen either. GIVE ME THE VY. Dude flat out wins. Yes I am discounting the alleged suicide attempt and his general inability to work hard because I blame ol' Jeff Fisher. Well I already laid out the case hereso go there for more. Plus it has been reported that the Bills want an athletic Qb, case closed.

Alright fine none of that will happen and we'll resign Posluszny and Drayton Florence and no one will complain. At least Whitner will be over paid somewhere else and we have Marcell Dareus right? 6-10 it is
