Angels gift wrap the Yankees the ALCS

by Steve

Mike Scioscia should be fired. Has a team and a manager played more scared and fucked up more times than the Angels did in the ALCS? Routine grounders, walking Cheat-rod, walking Cheater, ridiculous. Mismanagement of the bullpen and the starts throughout the series, this was a fuckin joke and a complete gift to the Yankees and their organization.

The Twins gift wrapped the ALDS and now the Angels do the same thing. Can a team get an easier road to the World Series? The blunders, base running errors etc are too numerous to count. WOW my two most hated baseball teams are in the World Series? AND I have to chear for the fuckin Phillies? Fuck that I may not watch

  1. Yeah I'm regrettably cheering for New York in this fall classic. I used to think Yankees fans were the most ridiculous, obnoxious baseball fans in the country. Then I moved to the greater Philadelphia area. If the Phillies give their city back-to-back World Series championships I will kill myself

  2. It's always about TV ratings and making more money. It's not Mike Scoscia's fault Bud Selig paid him to throw the series. It was way too much money to pass up. Charlie Manuel left the money on the table.

Also I love when someone says they're upset about a matchup and they won't watch it. 96% of the time they end up watching. That percentage might be a little low.

  3. stop crying. the yankees have been the best team in baseball since the all star break and had the best record in the majors.

the yankees really had the series handed to them when they outscored the angels 33-19. must have been the errors.

you are lost, especially since you write a sports blog and can't spell 'cheer.'

  4. you are right. i don't capitalize words. you got me. i will try to do so going forward.

also, when you refer to me as a 'band wagon fake fan,' do you mean that i am not really a fan of the 1953 musical, "The Band Wagon"? or did you mean to type the word 'bandwagon'?

i am assuming you meant bandwagon, to which i ask which team i am a bandwagon fan of? since i have liked every team that i currently like (besides the bills) since 1993 or earlier.

    please elaborate.

    thanks,
    AJ

  6. so, because a team is good... no one can be a fan?

the yankees were 74-87 the first year i started liking them and finished 5th in the AL East. the new york mets had the highest payroll that year.

my favorite yankee never won a world series... in fact, he played in 5 total playoff games and won 0 playoff series in his entire career.

and now you tell me that because they are good every year i am not a real fan? go fuck yourself. that means you aren't a real bills fan; you just live in buffalo. you think liking bad teams makes you a bigger fan. but then again... you are wrong a lot, so i guess i shouldn't take you too seriously.
