- Looks like Roscoe Parrish is staying in Buffalo. According to Drew Rosenhouse's Twitter update, the Bills' dynamic punt returner is back practicing with Buffalo, rejoining his teammates to continue the offseason conditioning program.
- Bills will have more 4 wides and split Nelson out. "the team has a tight end they feel can be an important part of the passing game (rookie Shawn Nelson), they will look to use much more spread-formations in their base offensive sets, using three wide receivers, plus splitting Nelson out as a 4th receiver, and only using one running back in the backfield. The source said the Bills may do this even when they do not a run a no-huddle. The Bills had incorporated a fullback into their offensive gameplan more often the past two seasons. Running more 4 wide, 1 RB sets would obviously mean there wouldn't be a FB on the field as often."
- Kc Joyner hated our run blocking last year. "First, their overall offensive line run blocking totals were abysmal. Three of the Bills’ regular starters had a Point of Attack (POA) run block win percentage of under 80%. As I’ve detailed in previous posts, the 80% mark is the low-end acceptable total in this area, and Buffalo had only two linemen who were able to vault this bar"
- Chris Brown's opinion of Levitre and Wood starting. " Five guys all in new places and three new faces on one offensive line is a lot to pull together even for hard working blue collar players like the ones Buffalo now has in the fold.In time I think it can be a great line, it just might take the first half of the season to really get it humming."
