Donovan McNabb to the Washington Redskins

Filed to ESPN: Mcnabb to Redskins for 2nd-rd pick this year and either a 3 or 4 next year depending on certain conditions.

The Philadelphia Eagles traded Pro Bowl QB Donovan McNabb to their NFC East rivals, the Washington Redskins, on Sunday. Redskins coach Mike Shanahan confirmed the deal to USA TODAY's Jarrett Bell.

The Redskins will surrender a second-round pick this year (No. 37) and either a third- or fourth-round pick next year, Fox Sports and NFL.com reported.

McNabb has been the Eagles starter since 1999, when the club drafted him with the second overall pick. He brought the team to five NFC championship games and to Super Bowl XXXIX.


WOW trading him within the division? Gutsy idiotic or they have more knowledge than anyone else has. Plus this means the Bills will have a shot at shitty Jimmy Clausen @9. fml

    0.0% chance clausen goes @6 to seattle, they traded for whitehurst and a lot for him

    bills aren't taking a qb in the first 2 rounds

    il take jason campbell and roll to the playoffs kids,,, trade a 3rd for campbell and draft spiller in the 1st !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nix finally making moves i love it.. parcells and billy b both love tebow? i think their trying to con us into jumping on it.. thats what my sources r telling me at least.. tuna been known to be that grimey..

    if wreck has sources and are giving him info, the exact opposite is true, i love it. a running back in the 5th maybe, a 7th for campbell and defense the only 8 picks would be a cause for celebration

    Everybody though Brees was a midget when he came out. Clausen and Bradford are clearly talents you choose not to see that. Trent Williams never saw snow and play'd in a spread got his QB hurt too because he sucks. Bulaga is a RT. That chud from Rutgers team sucked..Blah blah blah Rolando McClain ever see snow in 'Bama? Does slingblade or gomer nix know what snow is?
