The Phillies are in agreement on a three-team trade with the Mariners and Blue Jays to acquire star pitcher Roy Halladay, SI.com has learned.
Sources say Halladay will agree to a contract extension to complete the deal.
It's likely Cliff Lee would wind up with the Mariners in the deal.
Crazy. Blue Jays had to move him it just comes down to which prospects. Without seeing who the Mariners dealt they appear to be the early winner. Lee and King Felix? AL West may be shifting north of SOCAL.
And Lee will leave after next season followed by Felix the year after...No mention of the Red Sox buying a championship by signing Lackey...If he were a Yankee you'd be burning crosses on their front lawn...WTF if Philly doing Lee is the best pitcher in MLB.
